Carroll Chargers

Carroll Chargers had a great 2015-2016 season where they were able to compete at the highest level as they advanced thru post-season all the way to the class 5A State Finals where they were defeated in the last game.  Carroll High School Hockey Association has been a member of Ft. Wayne High School Hockey for over 30 years. The Carroll Chargers won the State Tournament in 4A in 2010 and 2006 and 3A in 2009 as well as being at the top of the League at home and have won the City Tornament many times in the past 12 years. Our home school is Carroll High School. Our team is made up of primarily Carroll Students and we are fortunate to have a great following by our student body.

Olivier Legault is our Head Coach.  He brings a wealth of Hockey experience to the team.  He was drafted into the NHL by the Florida Panthers in 2005.  He was invited to the LA Kings Camp in 2009 and played two NHL Exhibition games.  He played for the Fort Wayne Komets from 2007-2009 and 2010-2011 where he was a two time Turner Cup Champion.  In 2009 Legault was the receipient of the Bud Gallmeier Memorial award for outstanding community service and dedication to the game.

Parris Duffus is our Assistant Coach.  He also has a rich and experienced history with hockey.  He was picked by the St. Louis Blues in the 1990 NHL draft and played 11 professional hockey seasons including time in the IHL, Europe, and in the NHL for the Coyotes and the Blues.  Duffus backstopped Team USA in 1996, 1998 and 1999 in the IIHF World Championships leading Team USA to a Bronze Medal in 1996.  Parris earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and was selected First Team All-American in the 1991-1992 season.  .  .
